Vir Ke Teer to premiere on STAR News on June 15
 

In keeping with its strategy of appointment viewing, STAR News, the 24-hour Hindi news channel from STAR India will launch Vir Ke Teer on June 15 at 10.00 pm. Featuring eminent journalist and editor of the Hindustan Times, Vir Sanghvi, the one-hour show will look at the "big story behind the news". It aims to present unique insights into people and current events, states a release.

Known was his incisiveness and panache, Sanghvi will probe into the root cause of a political murder, the Gordian knot that ties Bollywood with the mafia, the eco-political canvas that breeds financial scandals and such other stories that populate the Indian landscape.

The show is essentially narrative-based and is an addition to STAR News's repository of programmes including Akbar Ka Darbar with renowned journalist and editor of the Asian Age M J Akbar, National Reporter with ex-Aaj Tak anchor Ajay Kumar and Aaj Ki Baat with Rajat Sharma.
