etc Networks, part of ZEE Telefilms, has announced that the two channels under its umbrella, namely, etc Music and etc Channel Punjabi will remain free-to-air post July 15. The statement has been made in the wake of the I&B Ministry's ultimatum to broadcasters to indicate whether individual channels will be free-to-air or pay and the channel pricing in case of the latter.

In a prepared note, Jagjit Singh Kohli, CEO, etc Networks states, "As a market leader, to be fair to its viewers and to provide them with non stop entertainment both the channels will continue to be free-to-air. As an FTA channel we plan to further strengthen our reach and connectivity with the viewers."
