A Beautiful Mind, starring Oscar-winner Russell Crowe, and based on the true story of mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr, will premiere on June 6 at 9.00 pm on STAR Movies.

Produced by the celebrated pair of Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, the movie is directed by the latter and has an ensemble cast including Ed Harris, Adam Goldberg, Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany.

Connelly walked away with the Best Supporting Actress award at the Oscars in 2001 for her role as Alicia Nash in the movie.

Inspired by events in the life of the brilliant mathematician who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia, A Beautiful Mind, also draws, in part, from the biography of the man titled 'A Beautiful Mind' by Sylvia Nasar.
