| Nikhil Mirchandani who held the dual positions of director, ad sales (north and east) Turner Broadcasting Systems and advertising sales manager, Cartoon Network, India has been promoted to executive director, strategic marketing, Cartoon Network in the country.
In his new role, Mirchandani will relocate to the Network's Mumbai office to oversee and provide strategic direction to the channel's brand and programme marketing efforts. Mirchandani will work in tandem with other departments including ad sales, off-channel commerce, programming, public relations and creative to ensure synergies across various business units and drive initiatives to support revenue growth in the country.
Mirchandani joined Turner in September 2000 as director, ad sales (north and east) and was involved in key decisions pertaining to pricing and marketing strategies.
Prior to his joining Turner, Mirchandani was associated with Sony Entertainment Television (SET) as zonal advertising sales manager, working on all SET channels including Sony, MAX, AXN and CNBC. At SET, Mirchandani was responsible for managing key accounts as well as initiating major CPRP (cost per rating point) deals for large advertisers. |
