Rediff.com, the online provider of news, information, shopping and entertainment has launched a new service called Rediff Blogs, which allows users to publish their thoughts and ideas directly on the web.

A rage in the US, a blog or weblog is a personal or conversational website updated frequently with views, links, commentary and such other information relevant to a particular topic. The service enables the user to express his opinions, be heard and make friends.

The first Indian website to launch the service, features of Rediff Blogs include a Bloggers lounge that will keep a user updated about the latest tools, tips and tricks on how to become an expert blogger. Besides, a user can browse for more blogs in a particular interest category, add them to the favourites list and form a community.

An additional 'commenting feature ' to be included in the near future will enable users to voice their opinion about every update posted within a blog.
