In a refreshing change, business channel CNBC has launched the IIFA Art Show at 9.00 am today in association with the International Institute of Fine Arts, Delhi, Times Foundation, which is part of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd, proprietors of the Times of India Group and Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai.

Presented by danseuse Mallika Sarabhai, the show is a celebration of art on canvas and stage, bringing together some of the finest fine and performing artists such as Laxman Shrestha, Jagjit Singh, Jehangir Sabavala, Asha Bhosle and Anjolie Ela Menon.

Repeats of the half-hour show featuring a pair of fine and performing artists will be televised at 12 noon and 9.00 pm tonight. A third repeat of the show will be telecast at 12 noon tomorrow.
