Buena Vista Television has announced the winners of the second edition of the Disney Hour Kids Awards. Shweta Prasad was voted as the 'Best female movie star of 2002' for her performance in Makdee while Dola Re from Devdas was voted as the 'Best song' and the movie itself walked away with the top honours for 'Best film'.

Shahrukh Khan was voted as the 'Best male movie star of 2002' while Smriti 'Tulsi' Irani walked away with the trophy for the 'Best female TV star' and Cezanne Khan was voted as the 'Best male TV star' for his performance in primetime soap Kasauti Zindagi Kay on Star Plus.

In the category of 'Best sportsperson', Virendra Sehwag was adjudged the winner while animated character Aladdin was the 'Best Disney Hour pal of 2002'.
