If March 28 marks the end of Jeena Isi ka Naam Hain on ZEE at least for the time being, for Sahara TV it is the beginning of a new chapter altogether. The channel will unveil its much-talked about and discussed mega serials featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Karishma Kapoor and Sridevi.

The Big B will appear for the first time in a 100-plus episode fiction series while Karishma Kapoor will star in the 260-episode daily serial titled Karishma…The Miracle of Destiny featuring 52 songs composed by Anu Malik. Sridevi will appear in the 208-episode comedy Hamari Bahu Malini Iyer directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by husband Boney Kapoor.

Apart from these debut shows, Sahara's thrust on Bollywood will continue through blockbuster movies and mega events with stars making an appearance on the channel everyday through a unique initiative called Dil Ki Baatein where besides presenting all primetime programmes, the artistes will highlight lesser-known facts about themselves.

In the pipeline are the World Song and Dance Championship titled Grooves (anchored by Jaaved Jaffrey), a comedy show by ace comedian Johnny Lever and a star-studded movie series.
