| ZEE's much touted celebrity show, Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hain will take a seasonal break from the month of April. The last episode featuring Karan Johar will be telecast on March 28, 2003. According to Apurva Purohit, president, ZEE TV, the show will be soon "revived in a new format ". "We have done this in the past with our other properties like Antakshari, Khana Khazana & Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and the shows in their new format are being appreciated by the viewers," she says.
Incidentally, Jeena's seasonal break comes as no surprise to ZEE watchers who were not too thrilled with anchorperson Suresh Oberoi who replaced the effervescent and lively Farooque Sheikh a few months ago. Produced by NDTV, the show debuted a year ago with a unique concept of profiling celebrities through the eyes of their near and dear ones.
Beginning with Bollywood 'Baadshah' Shahrukh Khan, the show had a wide range of personalities including Kiran Bedi, Laloo Prasad Yadav, P.C.Sorkar, Yuvraj Singh, Narayana Murthy and Pandit Jasraj among others. |
