A new interview-based show anchored by Bollywood director Karan Johar will premiere on STAR World on November 19. Titled Koffee with Karan, the show will debut in the 10.00 pm slot, and will be telecast every Friday.

Over a cup of coffee, Karan will prod his guests to reveal unknown facets of their lives, with the opening episode featuring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, a Bollywood pair that has delivered hits such as Baazigar, Dilwale Dulaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

Unlike regular interview-based shows, the spotlight in each episode will be on a pair of stars - mostly among Johar's friends. The list will include Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Sushmita Sen, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta, Gauri Khan and Suzanne Roshan, and Aishwarya Rai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
