The second zonal finals-East of the ongoing Britannia India's Child Genius will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2004, at 9 pm. Fifteen kids have made it through a gruelling process involving written tests, interviews and other similar parameters and have now successfully reached the zonal finals. The top six participants from each of the four zonal finals will make it to the semi finals. Post-semi finals, these six finalists from each of the two semi finals will make it to the finals.

In the zonal finals, the level of competition goes up, the questions become tougher, and the experience becomes even more enriching and educative for the children who are viewing it. The knowledge that they gain by watching these final rounds will ably supplement the school curriculum.

Since its launch in May 2004, Britannia India's Child Genius on STAR World has been providing a platform for the brightest pre-teen achievers to showcase their talent and learning. The show is hosted by India's best-known quizmaster Siddharth Basu.
