KS Sarma re-elected as IBF President
 

The chief executive of Prasar Bharati KS Sarma has been re-elected to the post of president of the Indian Broadcasting Federation (IBF) for the year 2004-05.

At the body's annual general meeting on September 29, Subhash Chandra Goel's younger brother Jawahar Goel was voted as the vice-president, while I Venkat of the Hyderabad-based Eenadu Group is the new treasurer.

The body also inducted three new members Harish Chawla of TV-18, Sharmistha Rijwani of Ten Sports and Narayan Rao of NDTV. These members replace R C Venkateish of ESPN Star Sports, Alex Kuruvilla of MTV and Anshuman Misra of Turner.

The other members on the board are Deepak Shourie of Discovery, Peter Mukherjea of STAR India, Kunal Dasgupta of Sony, G Krishnan of TV Today, Vinod Bakshi of BBC and Mahesh Prasad of Sahara.
