It###SQ###s official. Nachiket Pantvaidya, who was with Sony Entertainment Television India earlier, has joined Walt Disney Television International (India) as director, programming and production.

Pantvaidya will look into all aspects of programming, production and content development at Walt Disney and will play a critical role in providing creative vision and strategy for the network's various acquisitions in the country.

Disney India has plans to roll out three channels - flagship The Disney Channel (TDC), Playhouse for pre-schoolers and a general entertainment channel on the lines of ABC in the US, by 2005.

Theme parks and resorts - a hit abroad - will also be unveiled in the country, with the network on a recruitment drive since the last few months.
