China will be hosting ###SQ###The Formula One###SQ### season for the first time, since its inception. The sixteenth round of this season's championship will be held at the 5.45-kilometer lap, Shanghai International Circuit. STAR Sports will bring the action live for the Indian viewers, starting with the qualifying rounds at 10.25 am on September 25, 2004.

Forty-five minutes before the main race, "Race Day", STAR Sports' preview show will feature exclusive interviews, race preview, along with track and weather updates.

In the post-race show "Chequered Flag", there will be post-race interviews and highlights, plus a preview of the next race.

Since the track is new and the drivers are racing for the very first time in Shanghai, the race is expected to bring up some surprises.
