From September 4, BBC World launched a four-episode documentary series - Great Indian Cricketers. The show profiles some of the top captains, bowlers, fielders and all-time batting greats of Indian cricket.

Hosted by Sanjay Manjrekar, the series will feature rare archival footage and interviews with some of the biggest names in the game.

Some of the cricketing legends profiles in the programme are Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Bishan Singh Bedi, Eknath Solkar and Saurav Ganguly, highlighting their contributions and the influence they have had on the game.

The first episode, ###SQ###Batsmen###SQ### was aired on September 4. On September 11, the second episode will be on India's famous bowlers. The third and fourth episode will be on great fielders and successful captains, respectively.
