STAR World arranged a meeting where participants of Britannia India's Child Genius interacted with the President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam. In the interactive session, the budding geniuses addressed their queries to the President.

At the meet, the President recognised the efforts of STAR World to promote knowledge and learning at an early age and commended the participants on their performance on India's Child Genius.

This President also handed out certificates of merit to the young geniuses.

Since its launch in May 2004, Britannia India's Child Genius has been providing a platform for the brightest pre-teen achievers to showcase their precocious talent and learning. Britannia India's Child Genius - The Search For India's Smartest Kid not only tests the general knowledge of the participants but also quizzes them on verbal and non-verbal reasoning, maths, science, history, natural world, geography, mythology, literature, English language and spellings. Today, Britannia India's Child Genius is acknowledged as the only forum for unearthing talent who would be the knowledge leaders of tomorrow.
