Walt Disney Company (India) Private Limited has appointed Sunil Shahani as its finance director for its television business. Formerly with MTV for six years, Shahani will be responsible for all aspects of business planning and financial reporting apart from general management and consultancy support to the Asia Pacific crack team on special projects.

Shahani will also focus on liaising with distribution partners, developing the company's systems, cash management and personnel development.

Shahani has 13 years of experience having worked with ad agency McCann-Erickson, Sterling Holiday Resorts and Bharat Bijlee Limited earlier.
