South India-based Vijay TV has launched four weekly comedy series to gain more family viewership. The comedy serials would be shown at 9 pm from Monday to Thursday. To anchor the shows, the channel has roped in some big names from the south Indian film industry.

To begin with, the channel has a show called ###SQ###Idhu Eppadi Irukku###SQ### on Monday which is a mockery on how emotion is depicted by different stars over the ages, and presents the illogical and supposedly serious clips in a comic fashion interlaced with film clips. Bosskey, a popular television comedian and stand up artist, hosts this show.
