MTV will kick-off the auditions for the second season of its popular franchise Roadies - a reality road trip involving four boys and three girls - on July 21. The auditions will be held in Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chandigarh and Mumbai.

The actual road trip will be flagged-off from Kolkata on August 20, 2004. Seven participants, who will be shortlisted from the audition-stage conducted in the above-mentioned cities, will make the journey from Kolkata to the Wagah border in thirty-days. The journey will be on bikes.

The trip including the auditions will be captured in a 26-episode reality show, which will be aired somewhere in September-October this year.

The show has been billed as a "relationship expedition", with the seven Roadies put through a grueling schedule over the thirty-five-day period. The auditions will map the psychological profile of possible candidates, and will involve group discussions and personal interviews.
