Movie channel HBO has emerged as the leader in its genre on the back of a good performance in the first six months of the current year, says a release. The channel had seven of its titles in the Top 10 list of movies for the period of January-June 2004. (Base population: C&S, ABC 4+, All India, 1 Jan-26 June; Source: TAM Media Research)

HBO also had the highest channel share of 0.98 per cent for the same period among all English entertainment channels. (Base population: C&S, AB 4+, 6 cities, 1 Jan-26 June, 9-12 pm, Monday-Friday)

Commenting on the success, Shruti Bajpai, country manager, HBO, South Asia, says, "It makes us feel very proud that HBO has been the most watched English entertainment channel.
