ZEE News has roped in ex-Pakistani cricketer-cum-coach Javed Miandad and Wasim Akram for the special Asia Cup coverage that the channel will release on July 16. The Asia Cup, which begins in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on July 16, has India as one of the participating countries.

Miandad and Akram will provide their expert opinions on the matches of the day, including their predictions on who is likely to emerge the winner. Akram will be based in Colombo, while Miandad will be stationed at the ZEE News studio in Delhi.

Alongside, Zee News will also kick-off a roadshow with Miandad, with cricket fans being provided an opportunity to interact with the legend in person.

His in-studio appearance will also be made as interactive as possible so that viewers get an opportunity to speak to the man and direct questions to him.
