The Essel Group-promoted direct-to-home venture DishTV now has more than 100-channels on the platform, which is a substantial increase from the earlier list of 48 channels.

There are 32 broadcasters on the platform including players such as ESPN, Star Sports, Turner, NDTV, TV Today and Rajat Sharma's India TV.

DishTV's signals are available on a new satellite NSS-6, which provides high resolution, good quality images, and reach even during the monsoons.

Value added services such as radio channels, teletext, dual audio for channels, parental control and an electronic programme guide (EPS) are included in the list of services.
