Katha Interactive, the celebrity management, events and promotions company within the Katha Group, has been appointed by Indo-Swedish band Bombay Vikings to manage its shows in India and abroad.

Katha will also extend its services in the areas of PR and celebrity management promoting the band's lead singer Neeraj Sridhar in Bollywood. Speaking on the appointment of Katha Interactive, Sridhar says, "We believe that we would be able to achieve greater heights through Katha Interactive. And since I am now based in India, the response time will be quicker."

Established in 1994, Bombay Vikings shot to fame with remix versions of popular Hindi film numbers such as Kya Soorat Hai, Woh Chali, Hawa Mein Udata Jaye and Chod Do Aanchal.

Sridhar in particular is popular on the music circuit in India, and his movement from Stockholm (where he was originally based) to Mumbai indicates that he has plans to establish himself for good in the country.
