'Moon Walk' with The History Channel

The History Channel, devoted to historical programming, is commemorating the 35th anniversary of the man landing on the moon with its series Moon Walk. Starting July 4, 2004, the four-part series will come every Sunday at 9 pm.

As a special tribute, the channel will include a one-hour episode called Space Shuttle. This will be aired at 11 pm on Tuesday, July 20, the day that marks the historical landing on the moon.

Talking about the programme Dilshad Master, senior VP content and communications, The History Channel says, "We intend to show content that will be topical and credible entertainment for the entire family."

As a part of the celebration of the anniversary of the moon landing, The History Channel is going to run an interactive on-air contest between July 11 and July 30, 2004. The participants can win an all expense paid, five-day trip, with a companion, to the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida where they will get to meet with real astronauts.
