The ZEE Network's English channel is set to launch two new shows, The Adventures of Tintin and Gilmore Girls, this month. The former will premiere on June 17 at 8.30 pm, while the latter will go on air on June 22 at 9.00 pm.

Commenting on the shows Abhijit Saxena, business head, ZEE English, says, "Apart from comedy, which is our strong point, we have attempted to include other genres in our programming mix. Tin Tin, an animated adaptation of the adventures of the comic-book hero of the same name and Gilmore Girls, an American family sitcom, endeavours to fulfill viewer needs for something different. We are hopeful that this effort will be received well by our viewers."

Tin Tin's debut on ZEE English will coincide with the comic-book sleuth's 75th birth anniversary. The show will be telecast every Thursday, while Gilmore Girls will be aired every Tuesday.
