STAR World has decided against placing all its eggs in one basket. Even as the first episode of its prime offering India###SQ###s Child Genius went on air on May 16 at 9.00 pm, the channel is set to launch a new comedy series Stark Raving Mad on May 30 at 7.00 pm. The show stars Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors###SQ### Guild-award winner Tony Shalhoub as horror writer Ian Stark, who enters the life of a young, uptight book editor Henry McNeely played by Neil Patrick Harris. The series shows Harris tracking the eccentric Stark, and among characters who support him in this endeavour are Jake Donovan, Stark###SQ###s writing assistant and Maddie Keller, a bartender and college student.

The show was given the People###SQ###s Choice Award for Favourite Television Comedy Series in the year 2000, and has won critical acclaim across the world.
