MindShare named Global Media Agency of the Year 2003 by Advertising Age
 

MindShare has been named the Global Media Agency of the Year 2003 by Advertising Age magazine. This award comes as a climax to a truly outstanding year for MindShare all around the world. The agency won more national, regional and global awards than any other media company last year. These include the Media Agency of the Year Asia Pacific Award by Media Magazine, Media Agency of the Year (USA) by AdWeek, Media Agency of the Year (UK) by Campaign and Marketing magazines, Gold and Silver Effies at ACHAP, Chile, Agency of the Year at the EMVIE Awards in India, as well as Campaign of the Year by M&M Europe.

MindShare lost a few big ones too. Last year Unilever's $90 million media planning business in Japan went to Initiative, following the $40 million South Africa account two years earlier.
