HBO plans to feature HBO Japanese Connection, a collection of Japanese horror movies that took Hollywood by storm. HBO Japanese Connection will premiere on November 5, 2003, at 9.00 pm with The Ring.

The Ring inspired a Spielberg remake by the same name, The Ring O: Birthday. It is the famous prequel to 'The Ring'. The Ring O: Birthday will be shown on November 12, at 9.00 pm.

Next on HBO Japanese Connection is Ju-On: The Grudge. It has been made by director the of 'Spiderman' Sam Raimi. According to Raimi, it is the "the scariest film ever made". Premiering on November 19, 9.00 pm, Ju-On: The Grudge is about a series of people killed by a curse born of a grudge held by someone who suffers a violent, angry death as the curse is transmitted from one victim to the next. On November 26 at 9.00 pm, is Dark Water.
