It is that time of the year when the doors of Indian and international fashion fiesta are exposed to the most aspiring and gorgeous women of substance from the Indian subcontinent. To add a touch of reality element into the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2007, Zoom, India’s premier glamour and lifestyle channel is all set to launch ‘Pantaloons presents Main Miss India’ – a seven part reality series that will set the pulse racing with a vast gamut of emotions ranging from joy, anger, celebration, tears, aggression, jealousy and fun and will unfold all the behind the scenes drama, insecurities, the highs and lows, the trial and tribulations, all the hard work and excitement of the contestants of the much coveted beauty pageant in the country. Catch all the action starting Saturday, March 31st till April 6th at 8:30pm exclusively on Zoom.

Into its second year, this unique reality series, hosted by Zoom anchor Pooja Sharma, will give viewers a peek into the rigorous grooming sessions that the contestants have with celebrity experts including Hemant Trivedi, Dabboo Ratnani, Deanne Pandey, Dr. Jamuna Pai, Sandip Soparrkar, Pooja Makhija, Bharat and Dorris Godambe, besides featuring sessions where the former winners share their experiences with the contestants and their moments of fame and glory on being crowned as the winners of various independent titles of the pageant. The series will show the contestants share their innermost thoughts, feelings, experiences, aspirations and dreams of becoming Miss India and reveal the gradual transition in the personality and attitude of the contestants during the course of their training period.

Main Miss India drives the message of inculcating the values of believing in yourself and being proud of who you are and what you are today. It stands by the belief that every contestant is an achiever of her innermost desire and epitomizes the perfect woman of substance.

This year’s competition has introduced a number of interesting new awards categories to find the most talented contestants such as ‘Miss Zoom TV Personality’ to the contestant with great looks, presence and the wit that will make her Zoom’s discovery of the year. Some of the others category awards include Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Richfeel Femina Miss Beautiful hair, Aquawhite Femina Miss Beautiful smile, No marks Femina Miss Beautiful Skin, RayBan Femina Miss Beautiful eyes, Femina Miss Talented, Etam Femina Miss 10, Femina Miss Congeniality, Tanishq Femina Miss Photogenic, Femina Miss Soduko, Radio Mirchi Listeners Choice, Jealous 21 Femina Miss Sexy Legs, Femina Miss Sporty/Athlete and Senorita Femina Miss Dancing Queen.
